I had a great day at Walt Disney World’s Animal Kingdom saying hello to some creatures, enjoying a few snacks, and taking advantage of the new Lightning Lane Multi Pass.
Disney is a big place with a lot of different attractions! I thought it would be helpful if I shared my Animal Kingdom itinerary with YOU, so that you could take it to use for your own day at Animal Kingdom!
Multi Pass was a MUST for this Animal Kingdom Itinerary!
I met up with my friends, @MagicallyCruzingAllDisney and @DoleWhipsAndButerbeers, for a weekend in the parks! Because we were guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort (we stayed at POP Century), we were able to purchase and make Lightning Lane selections 7 days before our park day.
When a bunch of travel agents hit the parks, we are working as much as we are having fun. Despite getting so much accomplished on a short park day, our pace was slow and we spent a lot of time working and discussing business.
With the right strategy, you can do it all on your park day!
We experienced 4 of the best attractions at Animal Kingdom by utilizing Lightning Lanes (Flight of Passage, Na’vi River Journey, Kilimanjaro Safari, and Expedition Everest). We probably didn’t spend a total of more than 10 minutes all day waiting in any lines. The longest lines were for some of the snacks we tried.
I’ve got to be honest about some of our dining experiences. A popular snack, and one that I have recommended before, is the Cheeseburger Pods from Satu-li Canteen in Pandora. Although I have enjoyed this in the past, the quality wasn’t great this time. I also tried the Street Corn from Harambe Fruit Market and it was very overcooked and super dry.
Despite two disappointments, the Zazu DOLEWhip Lime Float from Trilo-Bites was DELICIOUS! It was so refreshing and tasty. I might be a little Disney crazy, but I think I liked this version better than pineapple DOLEWhip!
We spent about 6 hours in the park, and really maintained a very relaxed pace all day with our Animal Kingdom itinerary.
