Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass

I joined two of my travel besties at Walt Disney World to try out the new Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass!

What is Lightning Lane?

Lightning Lane passes allow guests to skip the standby line and join a shorter line for select attractions and experiences. Guests can purchase either a Lightning Lane Multi Pass, a Lightning Lane Single Pass, or both. These passes, available for a fee, let you schedule times to bypass the standby lines at most rides once per day.

Lightning Lane (LL) passes can be found on the home screen of the My Disney Experience App! Prices vary. Guests of Walt Disney World Resorts can purchase and make LL selections seven days in advance. All other ticketed guests can make selections up to three days in advance. A full guide is available to all of my booked clients!

I was staying at POP Century Resort with my friends, @DoleWhipsAndButterbeers and @MagicallyCruzingAllDisney, for the weekend, so we made our selections the week before. It took only a few minutes to purchase LL Multi Pass and make ride selections.

Making selections is very easy and straightforward.

Based on our arrival time at Walt Disney World, we made our selections for later in the afternoon and stacked the times right after one another. After scanning into our first LL, we were able to make an additional LL selection.

If you were a fan of FastPasses at Disney back in the day, the new LL system works in a similar way… an obvious difference being that now guests have to pay for that feature.

Our Saturday at Animal Kingdom was awesome, but we were joined by Hurricane Debby on Sunday at Hollywood Studios. The weather cooperated for most of the day and we utilized our preselected LL and made a few additional selections during our day at the park!
