They say time flies when you are having fun and my summer travel have been AWESOME! I must be having the best summer ever because I can’t believe August is HERE! I’m already looking forward to the big holidays ahead!
Let’s CELEBRATE!
I’m celebrating my anniversary as a travel agent! A year ago I saw a post on Instagram looking for travel agents. I submitted my application before going to bed that night and was thinking about how that opportunity would be such a great fit for my skills and lifestyle. Although I have so much more that I want to accomplish, I am proud of how much I have achieved so far! Do you need help planning your trip? LET’S GET STARTED HERE!
Also, I ended last month with a birthday celebration and one of Hagrid’s very special “Birthdae” cakes. DYK, I’m actually the same age as Harry Potter? I love confusing my kids with that info!
If you have ever visited the area before you are probably already familiar with the upside down architecture of the exterior. We reccently made our first visit to an iconic Orlando attraction, WONDERWORKS! This is a very hands on kind of place where kids of all ages can participate in experiments and experience some over the top attractions like roller coaster simulators, a 3 story ropes course, and sitting inside an intense gyroscope!
We celebrated the 4th of July at the Magic Kingdom! Every year on July 3rd & 4th the Magic Kingdom celebrates with dance parties and a patriotic fireworks show. This has become a summer tradition for us! TIP: You are surrounded by fireworks if you stand behind Cinderella’s Castle. Although, you can’t see the projections on the castle, the crowd levels are LOW and the view is AMAZING!
The OTHER Castle: Universal Orlando
We didn’t want to miss out on some of the exciting things happening this summer at Universal Orlando! The Universal Mega Movie Parade features some iconic movies that you can experience at Universal (like Jurassic Park and some Dreamworks faves). It also makes a special nod to some of the popular attractions which are no longer at the parks (Jaws, Ghostbusters, Back to the Future… gosh, I miss those).
Next, we headed to Diagon Alley to catch the Tales of Beedle the Bard show before taking the Hogwarts Express over to Hogsmeade. Sometimes I can’t believe we get to hang out in these incredible places. We had a late dinner at the Three Broomsticks and I grabbed a dairy-free Butterbeer (which is DELICIOUS). We rode Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey and after exiting, caught the new nighttime show, Hogwarts Always.
More Summer Travels Happening Soon…
I am joining some of my travel besties at Walt Disney World next week. We are testing out the new Lightning Lane Multi Pass, making advanced selections, and seeing how the new system functions.
I’ll be attending an in depth training at Universal Orlando in August. I will be joining my travel besties and we are already thinking about fun ways to share the experience with YOU!
